WHAT IS A SILENT EVENT?
A silent event is where people listen to audio through wireless headphones, as opposed to a speaker system.Only the people wearing headphones hear the audio being played, making it an awesome choice for venues with noise constraints, or just to create a club-like atmosphere where you can still hold a conversation at a normal volume.

DOES EVERYONE LISTEN TO THE SAME AUDIO AT A SILENT EVENT?
One of the best parts of a silent event is everyone can listen to themusic, content or language channel of their choice. If you have multiple DJs, a presentation in different languages or even just multiple MP3 players, you can stream up to 10 stations, letting your guests pick their favourite channel to tune into.
WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE FOR A SILENT EVENT?
Our dry-hire rental service is turnkey. We supply everything you need to get the party started, including:
- LED wireless headphones – enough for each of your guests.
- Transmitter –our transmitters allow up to ten different channels.
- Audio – a simple iPad or mp3 player will do the job.
- Audience –you need guests at your silent event. Don’t worry if they have never experienced a silent event before…our headphones are easy to use and we provide a simple user guide.
CAN I HOST A SILENT EVENT AT HOME?
Of course – it’s really easy and a whole lot of fun. We provide everything you’ll need, including wireless headphones and transmitter(s)…all you’ll need to provide your own tunes. Simply plug in the transmitter to your iPad, mp3 player or music source, turn on your pre-charged headphones, and get your groove on!
WHEN WILL MY HEADPHONE RENTAL ARRIVE?
Your equipment will arrive one or two days before your event, giving you plenty of time to get familiar with it all. Of course, if you’re unsure about anything, you can always reach out to us at Silent Party Hire.
HOW DO I RETURN MY HEADPHONE RENTAL?
After your event, simply repack the equipment in the box it came in and apply the return-shipping label on the case. Then call our nominated courier to come to collect it – this should be done on the first business day after your event. Alternatively, you can drop the gear off at the courier’s local drop-off point if that’s easier. Please note, we reserve the right to deduct/withhold money from your deposit until the equipment is returned.
WHAT HAPPENS IF HEADPHONES ARE LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN?
We always recommend having good security measures in place to deter theft and damage. We have a standard £XX replacement fee for headphones that go missing or are damaged at the event. Replacement of the wireless music transmitter is £XX.
HOW LONG DOES THE RENTAL LAST?
Our standard quote covers usage for a single-day event, with the headphones being returned the following business day. For longer events, we offer consecutive-day pricing at an additional £X per headphone for each additional day of use. The headphones arrive fully charged, with approximately 8-10 hours of battery life. So, if you are having a multiple-day event, you may need to re-charge the headphones in between events. We also have weekly rates available for longer events and offer long-term leases when you simply want a hands-off party experience throughout the year
HOW DO I PAY?
We require a £XXX holding deposit to secure a reservation. The balance of your rental is due at least 5 days prior to your event date – and is required before the equipment can be shipped. We accept all major credit cards and payments via BACS.

WHAT IS THE WIRELESS RANGE OF SILENT PARTY HIRE HEADPHONES SILENT DISCO RF TRANSMITTER?
Your playlist can be broadcast at a radius of up to 500 meters from the wireless transmitter making it a perfect fit for every venue and party.
HOW LONG DO THE HEADPHONE BATTERIES LAST?
Our headphone’s batteries last from 8-10 hours on a single charge. They also arrive to you fully charged so you can open the box and immediately start enjoying the party.
